JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 75% of the time will be spent on reactive selling - taking orders & quoting jobs
  • 25% of the time will be spent on proactive selling - outbound calls, following up on quotes and cold calls

  • 73 year old company - wholesale distributor (family-owned business)
  • Financially rated: 4A+1 rated with Lumberman's Red Book, 3A+1 with Dun & Bradstreet. We are debt free.
  • Achievements: 1994-semi-finalist for the Family Business of the Year Award; in 1995,President nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year; in 1999, President served as Chairman of the North American Wholesale Lumber Association; 2004 Big Mac Award Recipient

BENEFITS:

  • 401 (k) Plan - Defer up to 15% of salary within federal limits. Company matches 50 cents for every dollar of employee's contribution, up to 6% of employee's salary.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must come from a related building material industry
  • Must have three years sales experience with one company
